I have a little sickly Vanessa this morning, but she is definitely feeling better, so that's good. We wanted to show you yet another sneak peek at one of those new, funky QVC kits that should be on air this Friday!!

Super Duper Easy recycled project!

My little Vanessa is quite the collector. She even follows me around when I am crafting and picks up all the tiny splatter of pieces of paper and small embellishments that land on the floor. She really *needs* a place to collect all her treasures! So, I turned one of those cute little American Crafts jars into a cute jar for Vanessa, complete with her own picture on it! Super easy and quick project too!

Tuesday's here and so is a little sneaky peek of one of those new QVC kits coming up...think neutral colors for home decor, and a bit of spring splashed in...

Monday Monday! We had a busy weekend full of....cleaning! How fun LOL! But, it does feel great to have things looking cleaner around the house. We also made it outside a bit for some park play time. Here are two favorite pics from the weekend.

And last item of business for monday is that you NEED to do my earth day challenge from last week! Tomorrow is the last day to put a link on my blog to your recycled project- I'll have the girls pick a name from the hat Wednesday a.m.

A little follow up with this layout of that picture of the adorable, screeching 2 year old of mine. Poor thing just gets so frustrated!!

For this one, I took some blank, printed cards from a Dena Designs Card kit and used them as my pattern paper on the layout!


Oh, and those chipboard letters I have been using tons of....they should be in a kit on QVC next week!! I can't get enough of them!

Happy Friday! YAY! Today I wanted to send a special Happy Birthday wish to my mom. I can't believe she is 60 today!! WOW! She looks great for 60, seriously! I can't say enough good things about my mom...she inspires me and is definitely somebody to look up to. Thanks Mom for all you do! And, in honor of her, I did a little tribute page that has a few sneak peeks in it...

This week is flyin' by! Is it really Thursday already? Lots to do on this busy day and I have Robyn sitting here on my lap helping me for now. We wanted to share with you a little peek that is nice and bright and springy!

*sigh* Is this the terrible two's, because Robyn seems to be the LOUDEST child I have ever known! Seems she is always bent out of shape and frustrated about something. Unfortunately I see this cute screechy face waaaay too often....

Monday Monday!
I was amazed this morning at how much greener things are looking already! What a big difference just over the weekend. YAY!

I did a layout that I had planned on sharing this morning over the weekend, but decided that I am going to put it aside as a possible MMM entry. Not like I really have a chance of winning anyways, but it might be fun to enter! So, I'll share a few more pictures from the weekend instead!

Today was bargain Saturday! YAY!

First, we went to the Kiwanis sale and I scored for the girls 3 dresses, 2 shirts, 1 shorts, and 1 hat for....$5.50! YAY for bargains!

Oh and we saw this really sweet chair/ottoman set...not too fond of the color, but the styles matches an old rocker we have perfectly- priced very right too! We didn't snag it today, but if I make my way there again next week and it is still there, then it will be meant to be.

We also stopped by the Farmer's Market for a bit and found some super yummy cookies!






































Then later on, I had to make a quick trip to the store at the corner to get something for lunch and scored a FREE kids basketball hoop! YAY!

Been busy today with work, but looking very much forward to the weekend! Just thought I would share a layout I did today. I rarely use black and white photos, but I recently downloaded these actions from the Pioneer Woman thanks to Celeste and I am loving this black and white conversion! So, thanks for the tip there Celeste and by the way, if you don't already visit her blog, go check it out- she has a cool challenge posted today!

YAY for spring! I was excited to see that my daffodils are about to bloom. And the forsythia- can't wait to add a splash of that springy yellow into some of my photos.

So....speaking of things I am working on...check out this cute little project- it's made from mock-up stuff, so the 'rub-ons' don't look that great, but overall I liked it! :)
